Exhibition Design

In April 1987, an international symposium with prominent participants took place in Stuttgart. The symposium focused on the museum and urban development in the central area of the state capital. The documentation of the results from that time was shown from September 7 to December 18, 2020, in the BDA WECHSELRAUM. What potential does a cultural district offer for the city? An exhibition by the Association of German Architects (BDA) Baden-Württemberg in collaboration with Aufbruch Stuttgart e.V., featuring designs by Othmar Barth, Roland Rainer, Colin Rowe, Dolf Schnebli, and James Stirling.

Universities provide space for experimentation and research. The BDA Baden-Württemberg wants to explore the innovative potential of student works through the theme of “reusing” and “sustainability”. The Bund Deutscher Architektinnen und Architekten BDA Landesverband Baden-Württemberg awards the “Nachwuchspreis Die*JungenHugos” for architecture students at universities in Baden-Württemberg. The goal is to give the younger generation the opportunity to present their designs and engage in a discourse about the societal relevance of architectural planning.

Studio Tillack Knöll is a multicreative design practice that concerns itself with the visual and spatial aspects of communication. We design exhibitions, wayfinding systems, books, visual identities and digital experiences for a variety of clients involved in architecture, art, science and commerce to cultural institutions and NGOs.
