Architekturnovember is a month-long architectural festival organised by the Bund Deutscher Architektinnen und Architekten BDA Baden-Württemberg e. V. [Association of German Architects in Baden Württemberg] that spreads and instils an interest in architecture and its social relevance to dedicated citizens.

The festival’s focus is placed on the importance of qualitative architecture, as well as the possibilities and instruments needed for achieving long-lasting architecture and urban planning.

Over the years numerous architects, studios and architectural practices have participated in giving talks, lectures and valuable insights as well as elaborated opinions during discussions.

Architects and practices included e. g. SANAA, Zaha Hadid Architects, Snøhetta, Brandlhuber+, 6a Architects, Foster + Partners, Herzog & de Meuron, Jórunn Ragnarsdóttir, Saskia Sassen, Behnisch Architekten.

With over 40 events in more than 10 cities the Architekturnovember is one of the biggest events in Germany celebrating and appreciating high-quality architecture and urban-planning.

Starting in 2016, we have constantly evolved the ever-changing identity which each year adapts itself to a new topic.

The posters, the website, the programme brochure, merchandise and the exhibition design is then implemented into a new iteration.
